Community Education

We have a strong commitment to providing community education about epilepsy, and are available to teach any group or organization in our community. Examples of recent teaching sessions include: the Inter-Cultural Association, Community Living Services Staff Orientation for Nurses and Rehab Professionals, Ministry of Children and Family Development, Recreation Integration Victoria and Queen Alexandra Summer Program Staff, BC Cancer Agency Brain Tumor Support Group, M'akola Housing Society, Esquimalt First Nations, Camosun College Community Support Worker Program, workplaces, police departments, and various schools throughout School Districts 61, 62 and 63.

To plan a session, phone our agency 250-475-6677 or email Deirdre Syms, our Epilepsy Services Manager. We can provide basic epilepsy education or create and deliver a more advanced program tailored to your needs.
